Amanda is a Computer Science & STEM Career Tech middle school teacher at McAdory Middle School. Formerly she was a district level instructional technology coach for Jefferson County Schools (AL), a district of 56 schools. She has been in education for 16 years as a teacher but also as a leader when it comes to technology integration. She is always looking for ways to guide and encourage teachers to adapt their teaching to reach students that are in classrooms during today’s changing times. She is a cheerleader for STEM and changing how we teach science to students to students who will have careers that haven´t been created yet. She is also a Certified Google Trainer that loves helping teachers become more organized and give their students more options via using Google Suite for Education. When Amanda is not working with teachers or nerding out on technology she is at the beach with her family or baking. She is also a huge NASA fan and loves anything about space.
